Exterior House Paint
The exterior of your home is a statement reflecting the style of your home’s architecture, your neighborhood and also of your own personal style. In the process of selecting a new color scheme, keep in mind that a new exterior palette must coordinate and complement existing components that won’t change – such as roofing, stone, brick or concrete.
Keep in mind the following: Select colors that complement your neighborhood; try out new paint colors or combinations with Benjamin Moore’s sample pots; view color choices during the different stages of light during the day – bright sunshine, shade, fading evening light.
The finish or sheen of your exterior paint is also to be considered – low lustre or matte is less reflective; semi-gloss adds extra durability; high gloss adds richness and drama.
