Two Tone Decks
Mixing a lighter wood stain colour on your deck with a solid stain for posts and railing is great way to update your deck with a fresh look (see image pictured above for an example). Benjamin Moore stains come in a range of products from transparents to solids.
Go Grey
Grey is a great on-trend neutral colour that can work well with any siding – just find the right complimentary grey for your house. Benjamin Moore stains are available in the complete range of Benjamin colours, including the our favourite picks for 2020 deck stain trends. Show us a picture of your house and we can find the grey that’s right for you.
Transparent Stain
Letting the grain and quality of natural wood shine through remains a classic look. With more and more people repainting their vinyl siding in darker colours (yes, you can paint vinyl siding! >>) choosing a transparent stain provides a nice contrast.
Remember to Prep Your Deck!
As always, make sure your take the time to properly prep your deck before applying deck stain. Benjamin Moore makes a complete line of deck cleaning products that are a perfect compliment to Benjamin Moore stains.
