Quaint Little One-Room Schoolhouse

Many a mitten was hung by this chimney with care by the teachers of Bristol’s Hope, NL. The Mosquito School House (a Registered Heritage Structure) is a wooden, one-room, one storey hip roofed building, constructed between 1818 and 1828. It was the least we could do to brighten and  warm the place up again, with a coat of fresh Benjamin Moore paint.
